Bed Power outlet

Has anyone added a power outlet to there bed? Can it be wired to converter already in truck? Any suggestions?

The one in the cab is too small for most anything except phone chargers so I'd suggest wiring in a bigger one under the hood and running the wires along the frame to the back and install a plug similar to this.

I have used mine to inflate an air mattress when camping but yes, it's only good for a little over 1 amp.

Ya, its too bad RAM doesnt have something in the bed. Other manufacturers do - would be nice if RAM could.

Thanks but I found it on truck trend. Its very similar to the one Toyota has on their trucks

that's the factory nissan one. Gm has one as well. Either could be modified to fit
