Behind the Grill LED Light Bar

I purchased a 20" LED light bar for behind the grill. The only issue I had was the active shutter system. So I removed it. I did remove the actuator from the assembly, but I kept it connected, as it popped a CEL.

EDIT: I pulled the battery cable, and it reset ok, but the CEL has come on again.... the active shutter motor is connected still, so not sure what the issue is. ANY IDEAS?

I will post some night output pics later today.

Nice clean install, to bad 25% of that light is blocked by the center grill bar.
I'd like to get one for added light at night, man these state roads get D A R K !

Yeah that center bar... but my plans are to get an open grill eventually....

I need to find out why the CEL is on now....... even though the actuator for the active shutters is connected... weird.

I brought my ram back to the dealer a few months ago because my CEL was on. They told me the shutters were out of alignment which caused the CEL.

Out of alignment?? That really makes no sense! But oh well....

Yes those are the factory projectors. I wish they didn't have the chrome shroud in them, but I really do not want to take them apart just for that.

I have a 30" CRE led bar inside my front bumper and I love it. Uses less power than 1 low beam headlight and is a million times brighter.

what did you mount the light bar to? show pictures of the area it's attached please

I ought a 42" but found out hard way it doesn't fit do to coolant bottle. So now I want to go biggest I could which 30" fits just don't k ow how everyone got by the Shutter codes. Any update on how to remove shutters without code?
