I like the Michelin Defenders, but the Continentals are a quiet ride and last - my son has used both Defenders and Continental on his Jeep GC and says he likes the Continentals better and will go back to those if the Defenders ever wear out.
I have had the BFG Advantage TA on my Pacifica and wife's car - absolutely horrible in wet weather after a year or so.
I have had Defenders on my truck, liked them and currently have General HTS 60's on now - they are close overall, but I think the Defenders work better in wet/snow and any mud.
I have no experience with them but extensive research and comments from others have me looking real hard at the Continental Terrain contact H/T. If I do not go with the Continental I will most likely choose the Michelin Defenders. Continental makes a Terrain Contact A/T as well for those who venture off road more frequently than I do.I like the Michelin Defenders, but the Continentals are a quiet ride and last - my son has used both Defenders and Continental on his Jeep GC and says he likes the Continentals better and will go back to those if the Defenders ever wear out.

Which Continentals do you recommend?
