Yep just plastic clips, but once its off... good luck getting it back on.

i ripped mine off in the mud hole and wasn't able to get it back on with the same clips, i just zip tied it on

Mine rubbed when I put on 37s and I just never bothered to trim it and put it back on. It's just a bunch of tabs to pop out.

sweet, i am not planning on putting it back on, it gives the illusion that the truck sits higher hahaha a very inexpensive mod.

I thought of taking mine off. Does anybody else lifted have theirs off? Do you wish you had left it on or like it better off?

My last truck was lifted and i had ran over a post in the sand when i was at the beach and the post ripped it off so i left it off, i personally like it better off, gives a little more clearance in the front

On 3rd Gen I was never a fan of people removing it because then the body lines didn't match up. On the 4th gens it looks like that plastic piece is actually lower

yeah i hit a puppy or a baby seal cant remember but it ripped it off.

no but it does look better without it, also i believe it helps with aeromatics(mater) if anyones been under a ecoboost they pretty much have panels all the way back to the bell housing.
