Cam help!

Ok so this may have been answered already, but I can't get the app to work well enough to let me search for anything. Any way, I have a 318 in a 99. I want to put a cam it it but have no clue where to start. Only mods are cold air intake, and an aftermarket catback system. I want some added low end power/acceleration and the added sound you usually get from a good cam. So any advice or help would be great. Thanks.

I'm not on here much anymore but PM Merc225hp and ask him to chime into you thread, he knows the ins and outs of the older Motors including camming them. Danny

Sorry man, I just don't know enough about cam upgrades to these motors to give ya an informed answer.
You might get close to the same amount of power from a quality set of long tube headers and you wouldn't have to flash the pcm.

I didn't think a good set of headers would equal to that much power. I'll have to look into that. Thanks for the advice. And I'll be sure to message merc, thanks.
