Center Console to Jump seat all challenges have been overcome!!

hi all! I am new here.

I wanted to tell you my accomplishment of going from a console to a jump seat. I did months of research. I have a 2013 Ram Sport with floor shifter. I ended up going converting it to a column shifter and jumpeat! Many parts involved, lots of research, but I did it!!

If any one needs any help, I can provide pictures and detailed help. I thought I'd come here and help others, as I have read many posts all over the place that have helped me.

btw, you can do this mod on any 2013+ Ram 1500 2500 3500

So if you have the jumpseat, you can easily add this console. I want this console to find a good home! Its a great console that came out the Sport model

Mine's an 09. I know it's possible, but the console to column shifter may be more than I want to tackle.

It’s easy to go from column to floor shifter. The way I went was floor to columns and that more challenging because there is a part that I need that doesn’t have a part number. It’s not bad at all and I have all pets that you’ll need.

I do prefer the floor shifter but I had to go to colum in order to install jump seat

I'd prefer the jump seat as it just feels roomier in the cab. I had it in my first '09. I'd like to get a 13+ jump seat though, with the storage below the seat as well, and the handy cup holders and USB connection in the arm rest. Still, that's a drawn out project for me, and I'd need time to get it done.

You’d be surprised most people prefer the console and usually the jump seat is looked down upon as if it is lower class it seems.

Who, me? Sure, if I could find the stuff to put in a jump seat with storage. I also have leather in the truck, so it's have to at least come close to matching.

Nice man thats definitely way beyond my capabilities. Any plans for the exposed metal/rough edge type of stuff left over?

Ahhh it’s funny you ask! I just received the lower storage drawer and I also order the radio dash bezel. I have just finished putting it in tonight!

Some before and after pics of the bezel that goes with the console. I simply transferred all he accessories to the new bezel

No! It is not beyond your capabilities. While this is probably the most challenging conversion to do, if I’m able to do it I know you can as well. I could not have done it without the help from other forums that gave me step by step instructions.

I did get parts from all over America lol

Oh wait. You wanted the plastic part. Not the tray. Not sure how to get that

The part at the very bottom of the side of drawer I think it’s called a lower trim piece but I can’t find it anywhere.
