When I apply the brakes to say, stop at a red light, about 2 out of 5 times my "Check Gauges" light comes on. It dings a couple of times, then the light goes off. Nothing looks out of the ordinary as far as what the gauges are registering for oil pressure, battery voltage, etc. Any ideas?

It only does this when going from moving to applying the brakes to slow down.

Thanks!

If the brake fluid in the reservoir low? I don't know if the brake light coming on due to low brake fluid will also ding the check gauges light, i've never been low on brake fluid. You didn't see any of the gauges too low, what about too high?

Turns out it was low on oil....which is something new and a bit concerning. I could have swore there was a dedicated Oil Light that would have lit up for a low oil issue.
