hey guys, so last Wednesday i put a new intake horn on my truck, replaced intake grid heater top and bottom gaskets that were supplied with intake etc. anyway, on thurs and fri i started noticing a "different" sound when i started building boost, wasnt sure if it was normal with new intake horn or not, anyway, i did a lil road test tonight and fri. night, noticed i could only build 35 PSI and then it dropped, and my pyrometer spiked at 1600 deg (for 2 sec max) so i KNOW i have a boost leak now at this time, just clueless about where itd be at. i tightened clamp on intake horn side of upper boost tube very tight. only other thing i can think of is i have my intake heater ground strap as well as my edge ground wire on right front edge of intake horn between intake horn and grid heater, couldnt image thatd create a boost leak, but i have no clue where else i could put grid heater ground.
let me know what i need to do to look for where i could be getting a boost leak at please.
