Color Matched Rebel Grill

Anyone done any yet? Google hasn't come up with anything so I assume not. But I'd be interested to see what it would be painted to match, with RAM left matte black ... Thinking of a different look for my Sport. Either that or a Limited grill, but HOLLLYY they want $6-800 for those. LOL.. Wow!

There is a ton of "limited style grilles" on eBay for way cheaper then $600-$800. It's not OEM but its close.

Here is one example.... it's wild looking.

What's insane is its only $184 shipped.

Then there are these.


The black ones are $174 and the chrome are $180. Both with free shipping.

I really want to order the black version, and then get another custom Emblem from www.MainEventEmblems.com . I had them make a custom emblem for my previous Ram, a 2006, and it was amazing quality.

Here is the custom emblem I want to get and put in the middle of the black "limited" ebay grille above. This is literally my old truck with the custom emblem. I want to order the same exact emblem, but put it on the grille above.

Exactly what I was looking for! These Rebel grills are about half the price of the Limited ones as I posted above (the limited ones look way better) especially now that I see this. No wonder they leave them matte black, when its painted it really sticks out like a sore thumb!!

Mine? I believe it was $85 shipped but it was custom made back then just for me (early Nov. 2016). Now Main Event Emblems actually has the same size as the one I ordered, now listed in their store for $89.95.

Ya they look way better matte black. I'm not a fan of the Rebel look overall but thought painted it might be decent looking. I was wrong, it can't get decent.

Now to find a used cheap... limited to paint.... Thanks gang!

Turns out RAM already stole this idea for the 18 refresh... Now it'll be everywhere.. Guess I won't be doing it after all. LOL
