Cost for brakes

My brakes are starting to grind at 69k miles. I got a quote to get new pads, rotors and new fluids for both axels for less than $1000 after tax. Should I keep shopping?

That's not bad, can you do this work yourself? You will save about half of that price you are being quoted.

I get all my stuff from RockAuto.com, however any brake parts can be bought from any auto parts store.

Fluid can be purchased from any auto parts store or Amazon

What ever route you go,do it soon as you are potentially damaging the calipers and could cause the bill to go up.
