Cool find. I ordered one from Amazon and overpaid I guess...

I had a molex crimper but it wasn't wide enough so it was deforming connectors.

Got the crimper Tuesday, the wire and loom tape yesterday, the bezel showed up this morning and the 24 pin connectors and all the pins are supposed to be here this afternoon. Looks like I'm just going to be holding on the 8 pin connector and the control module.

Started making the harness a little bit ago. Learning to solder at the same time for the splices over to the 8 pin connector. Soldering is either much easier than I anticipated or I'm so bad at it I can't tell its not right.

If it works who cares if it looks pretty? [emoji23]

Got as much done as I can on the harness until the 8 pin socket arrives.20150403_220733_zpsni8thte9.jpg

You were smart and did different colors. Mine were all red.

I bought a wire kit that came in a box with 5 spools of wire in different colors. I still managed to screw up and put them in the wrong spot the first time and had to start over with another set of 24 pin sockets.

I was having trouble getting the pins inserted correctly and managed to break one when I test fitted the ends together. Had to start over since I couldn't get the broken pin out. It was alright since I ordered twice as much as I needed to make the harness.

I got a couple of pins stuck when the wires pulled out of the crimp. Had to use a needle to push them out with a staple releasing them.

@cgeorgemo,
If possible, can you please correlate each connector to indaram's diagram (pics?) and whether it is using the male pins/female sockets?

I was actually thinking about making a graphic with the numbering in the correct positions. Is that what you meant?
