Yeah, it's definitely going to be weird not having a console, but when I was taking it out I opened it and realized I had nothing useful in it haha

Yeah that’s how mine is. Hate the fact that it has to be rolled down but does sound a lot better. Nice setup

I had this same kind of thought. I wonder how it would be if you redesigned it as a down firing box?

Now that would work for me. Making sure the top of the box is nothing but the top of the box. Smooth and uncut.

When I had my ‘98 RAM I had this Stealthbox from JL. The upfront bass was some of the best sounding I’ve ever heard.

The best sounding truck I have ever heard bar none, was a truck with a center counsel sub. It was a down firing IDQ15 sealed and it sounded amazing. 'chinaselect' on diyma had a thread going where he built probably 20 different center counsel enclosures and rated their pros/cons. If I remember correctly, his favorite configurations were also an idq15 DF, with four 8's DF being a close second.
