Best way to do it so water doesn't get sucked up into the engine? finally got my wish of getting some mud on the tires and now the whole engine bay is brown....

The aftermath:

And got a one of her flexing, kinda crappy pick tho...

Was gonna take a pic of her clean but apparently the caretaker of the carwash frowns uppon people leaving big globs of mud in the stalls and he was heading my way! lol

I really like them. They performed alot better than I seen them doing. Cleaned themselves out really easily and great traction through mud, I only needed 4WD when I went into some deep mud at a slow speed and just sunk

Typically a plastic trash bag works well for covering air intakes and such...

You'll have to wait till next year now but I normally break out with a 1 1/2" fire hose and fire nozzle and give the truck and good washing...

If you have your stock intake just go ahead and hose it out. That's all I do. I just don't use a heavy duty spray nozzle and am careful around electrical stuff.

I got a Spectre CAI on it so I don't want water getting sucked up the filter
