Do you have any rubbing issues? Did you get a certain offset with your wheels? Want to use stock 20 wheels but think I need atleast a 1/4" spacer. Any thoughts? Thanks
This was intended for HemiPower36...

So I'm currently sitting at 2.1 and have decided I'd like to go to 2.8 and install some mevotechs ucas while I'm at it. Being the lazy ******* I am I was wondering if anyone has adjusted the shocks without having to take it all the way out. Or is that the only way to adjust it?

They have to come off, to get a spring compressor in there to get it high enough to change the perch I imagine would be impossible, if not more work than just taking it off.

That's what I thought but figured it was worth a shot to ask.

2011 1500 4x4 Bilstein all the way up. Question is. Do I need a wheel spacer to run 35x12.50r20 on stock 20inch wheels?

It will partially depend on the brand of 35x12.5 that you want to run. But the safe answer is yes, you will need spacers. 10mm hub centric spacers from Motorsport Tech are the ones you'll want to go with.

I agree itll depend on which tire but I can tell you I have Firestone destination m/t in 35x12.50r20 and they only rub at full turn.

I dont care what you do with the front end, if anything that is attached to anything that holds the wheels on the truck you need an alignment. Tie rods, control arms, ball joints, and everything else in there, just get it aligned. It does not take a whole lot by the eye to mess up bearing and good tires.

Bils on a 2500

Hi all,

Read all these posts and a bunch of others and could not find answers to my questions.

I have a 2010 2500.

Are the part numbers listed valid for a 2500?
Are they still hight adjustable for the 2500?
Any guidance on the height for a 2500?
Will they handle heavy loads?
Any experience with the ride quality improvements noticed on the 1500s with the 2500s?

Thanks!

You Sir have a straight front axle .... the 1500s have an IFS , Independent Front Suspension.

Pretty sure Bilstien has shocks for you , but not adjustable.
I believe you would install spacers for a level . If that's what your after .

As RLK stated above, none of this information applies to you as the suspension design on your 2500 is completely different from at 1500.

Your best option for leveling is progressive rate leveling springs, longer shocks, and an adjustable track bar. I'd recommend Thuren Fabrication components for all of the above. That will get you the best riding setup for a good price.

edit: Once I get it back, how do I know where to adjust headlights to? I understand how to adjust the headlights, but not sure how to measure or anything along those lines.
