Hello!
I just recently sold my Mach 1 Mustang because I was getting bored with it and wasnt enjoying it as much as I use too. After it sold I went and picked up a brand new 2017 Ram 1500 Laramie!
about me...
I am not new to forums; I posted a lot in mustang related sites. SO I know what the search function is (AHHAHA). I am in the Air Force currently stationed in Mississippi, with aspirations to PCS up north!
Thought process behind choosing Ram...
I am not brand loyal... I test drove various iterations of the 2014+ Silverado, 2014+ GMC Sierra and 2015+ Ford F150's. They all had qualities that I liked but were lacking majorly in certain departments. The GM twins were extremely outdated inside and the Ford was way more expensive for a equivalent trim to the Laramie.
In the end the Ram won out in value. I paid $41k OTD for mine. The ride comfort, interior fit and finish and extra features are what sold me over the others.
Now...
I have lived the life of highly modified cars... Despite what others say, they are NO FUN to daily drive. I purchased this truck to retire my old Mitsubishi Outlander that just rolled 285K miles.
With that said, my extent of modifications for now will be more for practicality instead of extreme lifts and loud exhaust..
I got it back from tint today and went with 20% on all the side windows and 40% on the windshield. YES you read that right! Mississippi has very lax tint laws!
Major options include:
-antispin
-parksense
-bucket seats
-remote start
-convenience group
-Hemi
ON TO THE PICS!!!
