Cool concept but way overpriced and running on semi outdated hardware and way outdated software. I think if they expect people to pay that much they will have to up their game to current hardware and software. Just stick a nexus 7 in your dash.

I agree about the software, gingerbread was okay but there is better. A nexus 7 is great idea but needs allot of modification to the dash. I'm not so sure the hardware is bad though. GPS, wifi,3g USB, that all sounds pretty good too me. And the price is on part with other DD receivers that don't give you 3g or wifi.

Seriously, if someone could just make a removable tablet for your vehicle that would be perfect.

Yeah there is a YouTube video of an audio dealer who did a great install of the nexus7 in a dodge ram that was easily removable but I'm sure it was a very expensive install.

Not sure which one your talking about but the head unit I originally posted about is an 800 x 480 6.2" capacative touch screen. This info is shown on the tech specs page of the website.

No big deal, I thought I missed something. I wouldn't want to recommend anything with a resistive touch screen. So I'm glad you brought it up.
