I own a 2017 Ram 1500 Laramie, with air suspension. I keep getting an intermittent service air suspension message. The diagnostic code identifies a faulty front ride height sensor, (shorting to ground.) I am ready to swap in new front ride height sensors. When doing this, if I first disconnect the vehicle battery, swap in the new front sensors, and then reconnect the battery, do I then need to go thru the recalibration process, or will the air suspension control unit not recognize that I changed the sensors, and retain the old values?
