I replace a fuel pump on my 2008 hemi 5.7 liter with almost a full tank of gasoline, I brought down the fuel tank to replace the fuel pump, connected all the connections, but it still saying I have a empty gas tank. How do I get the gas gauge to notice I have gasoline on my gas tank?

Your float switch on the pump is either stuck, defective or messed a connection up on the wiring. Could bang on the fuel tank and see if it gets unstuck and if possible, reach on top and try to check the connections.

Worse case, you may have to drop the tank and check the fuel pump installation.

I recently replaced a fuel pump and tank. Mine came with the float gauge zip tied in place for shipping. Hopefully you noticed that if it was, but that would definitely do it.
