no offense- but I fell in love with my first truck- and it was a 2007 quad cab 4.7L.
I loved the way it looked, I loved the way it sounded, I loved the way it drove, there was not a tiny thing I didn't love.
Even though the new RAM was out- I loved the 3rd generation and I bought it. And I was excited as the OP.
and I also say- If you get the best for the money you have, the money, you worked hard for, it is exciting even if it's just peanuts for somebody who can afford easy a new one.
and as I bought my 2 year old truck, which is what I can afford, without eating RAHMEN NOODLES for the next 7 years, I was excited like it would be a new one. For me, as for the OP, it's new and feels awesome.

no i get it don`t worry. Been on my own since 14 as well. Now almost 40 im starting to finally have something to show for all the years of hard work i`ve put in at the autoparts store. I recently piceked up a beauty 05 300 3.5l for my wife too. Cool vanilla in colour tinted and nice 18 chrome.

i still miss the 88 f150 i used to have. was a good truck. its nickname was the tank because it was unstoppable. huge brushguard on the front. was rear ended in that vehicle once. needed a new bumped. other person needed a new vehicle.
