Getting rid of the white lettered tires on my Rebel!

Hello all.

So I had the tires taken off the rims and reversed so that the white letters are facing in. It meant having to rebalance all for corners but it was so worth it. What a difference! I swapped the chrome lugs for satin black ones. A perfect match and again m, to my eyes, SO much more appropriate.

I'm doing a tire swap this week. Don't know why my "Night Package" came with the white lettering facing out, but that has to go. It's actually going to work out because the tires on my Tradesman are new and about 1.5" taller. I'm going to have the tires swapped out. I'd like to just swap wheels and tires, but the tradesman has 5 lugs.

Where did you get your black lugs?

I think it's great when we're given choices. I'm one of the 1% on this site that still like white letter tires. If a tire brand doesn't offer them I don't even look at them, I look at the ones that do and choose from one of them. Of course I like chrome too, another no no on this site. To each their own, build your truck the way you like it, after all, you're the one paying for it. Every truck on here should look the best to their owner. The only thing I don't like about white letter tires is you have to keep your vehicle clean to make them look good but I'm a n a l about mine staying clean so it works for me.
