Has anyone ever used this to protect against salt?

I picked one of these up at a boating store. They said it was good for road salt and I figured I would buy it and spray underneath my truck after we get a snow storm and my truck is covered in salt

I dont think it can hurt. It will just be something to help neutralize the salt. I am surprised they dont advertise more to people in the northeast haha. I went digging to find products like this
