Headlight Switch

Anyone know if swapping my headlight switch for one with an actual "off" position part #P68156061AD will need programming to the vin by the dealership? I swapped them an once I put lights in on position from "auto" they worked but when put to "off" they wouldn't shut off and chime just kept going off. Seems odd you would have to program it for your vin

Sure would like to confirm how to make this swap as well.

You would need to install the Switch that you have and from what I have been able to dig up but have not confirmed is that the dealer or someone with Alfa OBD has to change the Software setting from Canadian Truck to USA Truck.
