I’ve heard from a few people that some had issues with the LED’s burning out in this particular brand. Many say that the TYC brand is built much better.

I don't have the factory projector replica style but have these pictured. I've run these 'cheap projectors', and 2 different sets now in chrome and black, and never had a single issue. The LEDs are bright and I drive with my lights on 24/7 so they get plenty of on time. If anyone has actually seen a post on this forum of burnt out LEDs or other problems, please share. All I ever read are comments where people "have heard about issues". I also run their tails and 3rd brake.

People like to hate on cheap lights and say they leak, they burn out, they melt, they take your wallet and cheat on your wife.

These lights perform great with a HID kit.

I know there were ****** cheap lights on the market for years but what I've purchased in recent years have been just fine. VIP MotoZ is also a great vendor and is quick to make things right for their customers.

I'm just one opinion....you'll get lots on this subject...lol

The deal is, I have the all black projector lights on my 15 sport and really never liked the ALL BLACK version light. I’d love to get the Laramie headlights.
I have one headlight that is constantly getting moisture in it and after removing several times and trying to seal with silicone, it’s still getting moisture after I wash the truck.
My local Canadian dealer wants $900/side for oem and $600/side for after market.
I found these, which are exactly like the Laramie for a lot cheaper from DTMOTO. https://m.ebay.ca/itm/Factory-Chrome-2013-2018-Dodge-Ram-1500-2500-3500-Projector-Headlights-Headlamps-/132371019608?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D20150519202400%26meid%3Dac54dff1feff4e89a35f385511584047%26pid%3D100408%26rk%3D6%26rkt%3D15%26mehot%3Dag%26sd%3D172992741188%26itm%3D132371019608&_trksid=p2056116.c100408.m2460
Hmmm, what to do I say, what to do?

If you're not too much in a rush you can find oem projectors for pretty cheap every once in a while. I picked up a set after looking for a little while for $200 shipped out of a 16'. One was brand new and the other didn't even show any signs of wear.

I went with vomoto. Previous owner took out OEM and I'm on a budget. Here are pics b4 and after. I'm running hid's. I also reinforced silicon seal for extra protection. 20180619_202413.jpg 20180709_130609.jpg

They also make these with clear DRL

View attachment 129437
The ones with clear LEDs in the DRL's are about $400. Not worth it when you can buy the TYC version for $450 shipped and the TYC are better than the OEM projectors.
Have you a link to these?
If your going to shell out $300 for those Depo replica projectors, your better off spending the day with extra $150 and getting the TYC replica projectors. They are better than the OEM Ram Projectors. The TYC don't leak like the OEM ones always do and the TYC projector has a crisp, clear cut off line and the OEM projectors from Ram have a blurry, fuzzy cut off line and are not nearly as nice.

Recon sells them for $900 but they also sell the lights to 3rd party companies like Spyder for cheap and Spyder turns around and sells them for around $300-$340 on eBay.

$200 shipped for OEM projectors? I'm sorry but nobody would ever be that stupid. I'm calling B.S.

Normally I wouldn’t do this but... why would I lie, especially when it’s very possible to be called out.

I can vouch for this HID kit. Installed a few weeks back and had a chance to drive to FL from VA nearly the whole way at night and they were bright with zero issues. Great buy with a great price! Like the way the 5500K matches my 6000K C6S fogs as well. For mine it was the 9005/9006 35 watt.
