I own a 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 Express with the 5.7.

I have installed a 2.5" HBS leveling kit on the front. The truck is leveled without load. Once I add some weight in the bed it starts to sag. (not much weight at all) I'm not removing front leveling kit since I want to add bigger M/T tires.

I want to maybe lift the rear a inch or upgrade to a heavy duty rear suspension. I pull a boat and plan to pull a landscaping trailer with it. I just don't want it sagging ever time I load up.

Can anyone help and give me suggestions?

I see 3 options or a combination of all 3 that's up to you.
1. They make cool spacers for the rear 1-2 inches it's up to
You.
2. There is a company that sells coil spings that are stiffer than the factory. I will state the coil springs claim in capacity. Nothing can legally add gvw to you vehicle it can just make it handle the load better.
3. Air lift 1000 bags load up what ever you need pop a little air in each bag level the truck out and be on your way.

Personally the cheepest and easiest solution would be air lift 1000 bags. 80-100 bucks and you don't have to take apart the rear of you truck. Slide them between the coils run some air lines and air them up done.

Here is a link to some coils, I'm not sure if any of the preferred vendors sell these or not but you might check. Dodge Products
I know MOE's sells the airlift 1000 bags.

start with air bags. depending on weight they should be more then enough to level the truck with a boat

Bags will be your easiest and cheapest route.

Yeah try the bags first. I have the coils and they are exceptional but they lift the rear so you wouldnt be level any longer. I had to add a level to get the same ratio of rake back from factory.

Here is my truck with and without the airlift 1000 bags. The trailer has a 900 LB pin weight and the truck has a 5" lift. The truck has a 1" rake without anything in the bed. They made a nice difference, deffinitly helped with handling. It would have been nice if they leveled the truck with the trailer but for the money I can't complain.

I would say depending on how it's lifted. If it's just coil spacers I think they will work sense it's still the coil is still the same height. If it's a true coil suspension lift with taller coils it won't work because the air bag is only so tall.

Lift looks great. Are you running a weight distribution hitch? I'm not lifted but tow a similar travel trailer with a 2012 crew cab. I had a little squat but made some adjustments and she sits just right now. It's an Equal-i-zer hitch

Yeah like 14hemiexpress said, it's all about what kind of lift. Mine is just a level with a body lift. 5" total but I use the factory rear coils. One guy on here swapped to a different coil and his airlift 1000 didn't work because his new coils were wider than stock. Therefore the airbags didn't expand wide enough for the new coils.

Thanks man! No weight distribution for this test. I just put it on a regular straight hitch. I have a weight distribution set up but just didn't use it when I did the comparison!

That's what I have... The wireless one. Love it! I'm using the Airlift 5000 Ultimate but you won't need that with the 1500. The Airlift 1000 will be fine.

Airlift plus, properly adjusted W/D hitch. I've got the HBS level and all is good. Although I do need to drop my hitch another inch, I think I'll get full factory rack when hitched. Level is great, but more to the front is even better.
