The battery in my 2018 ram 1500 5.7 goes dead after a couple of weeks. What is the normal parasitic draw for my truck?
Anyone else with a 2018 have similar problems?

I have never been able to diagnose parasitic draw on a vehicle since all these modern circuits. I only know that you have to wait until the vehicle goes into low power mode (after everything rests), which also can include putting the FOB out of reach of the vehicle.

In my Audi, that can take 20-30 minutes.

Anything less than about 50ma.
You may want to have the battery load tested, it wouldn't be the first time a new truck's battery has gone bad in the first year.

Since you truck is brand new I would have the dealer check it. I would assume it would be warranty issue ?

I believe that my Viper alarm is part or all of my problem. I will do an amp draw test with and without the alarm in the circuit. I do not want to go to the dealer and have them point to the alarm as the cause. I will talk with the dealer service rep and find out the approximate draw.

Less than 50 mA is a good rule of thumb but the true factory draw is more in the 10-20 mA range.

Does your Viper alarm include one on these (or something similar)?

I had one on the wife's Jeep and the battery in the alarm went bad and would discharge the car's battery in about four days.
