I have a 2022 Ram 2500 Limited mega cab, without air suspension.
The ride is pretty harsh, especially for the rear seats.
How do I change the suspension for softer ride?
Should I visit the dealership or other places like midas?
What is recommended and how much will it cost?
I got the truck as new 3 months ago, will changing the suspension void warranty?

Trade it for a 1500 air ride. 2500 with a Cummins is made to haul , tow , work hard . It’s a truck, made for work .a 1500 with air ride will give you the car like ride you seem to be after.

Some people have switch to a Thuren suspension but it's pricey and there goes any factory suspension warranty.
Most people will lower the tire pressure to help smooth out the ride but as mentioned above the truck is made to tow and haul things, if you want a comfortable grocery-getter trade it in for 1500.

My wife thinks my 2022 2500 4x4 6.7L CTD rides like a caddy compared to my old 2006 2500 4x4 with a 5.9 CTD that had leaf springs....

Most, if not all, 3/4 ton trucks are not going to have the smoothest ride. I went from a 1500 to a 2500 and my wife says my truck is way more bumpy now. Whatever that means. I didn't really notice much change at all, but I've ridden around in trucks like that and bigger my whole life. Hopefully, you get used to it and learn to live with it because they are awesome trucks for towing, hauling, work, etc...

Drop the tire pressure when empty.
Changing tires might help, the Michelin Defenders have a soft sidewall even in the E rated model and ride pretty soft - if they are available in your size.

Changing suspension will certainly void the warranty on the suspension components.

You might be able to change rear springs, but it will definitely affect your towing/hauling capacities and you don't mention if you use the truck for that type of work.

1. Lower your tire pressure. I do 55 front, 50 rear. You may get a low pressure warning. I ignore it.
2. Throw a couple hundred pounds of sand bags in the front of the bed. Little bit of weight back there goes a long way.

If you decide the lower tire pressure solution is suitable for your interest, there are methods to defeat the low tire pressure warning.

AlphaOBD is likely the most popular but there are others available too.
I wouldn't advise spending time and energy on that until you're satisfied with the ride comfort first.

Mirror the above comments, why was the 2500 purchased? If because you are towing or carrying heavy loads then modifying the suspension will reduce your 2500's capabilities so in this case recommendation is don't do a thing to suspension.

Recommendation for a smoother ride in current truck is put 1k pounds in the back to settle the springs a bit, will at least stop bouncing all over the place.

But if you want the better ride and don't carry much ever, trade it on a 1500.

Don't start throwing money at a 2500 to make it ride like a 1500.

I have a 21 1500 Limited Longhorn with the air. It is a very plush ride with the added bonus that it automatically fine tunes the ride height when I'm towing our camping trailer. It also has a disable (tire jack) mode to employ while hitching/unhitching so it doesn't fight your efforts. Granted, it is not the towing/hauling beast that the 2500 is but it does have a tow rating of 9,721 which works out fine for our 6,780# Trailer. Because I've heard a few horror stories concerning the air suspension issues I opted for a Chrysler extended warranty.

And this is why RAM did coils on all 4 corners of a 2500 and why so many folks come on here expecting to do real truck stuff and find out it's unstable, it sags, has limited capacities ect. C'mon now.
Maybe a Powerwagon would be better. Heard they're softer yet!

Get a 1500 with 18" tires, and you don't want or need air suspension
if you live up north, trouble with cold temps.

Carli 2.5 Pintop with progressive springs and new swap bar. Lose about 10% capacity but rides almost as smooth as 1/2 ton.

Like others have said, putting weight in the bed will help. If you bought it for the load capacity, then it is what it is. If you want a softer ride, that truck isn't it.
