How much offset for an inch stick out?

Wheel noobie question here , I'm buying 285/70r17 Goodyear duratracs and I want offset wheels for them too. A shop suggested 17x9 traxx wheels. I'm not sure how the numbers go for how much offset the wheels will have. I want my tires to stick out past the fenders about an inch. How much offset will I need?

I would say 0 offset, factory is +25 I believe.
