how to tell lsd or open axles?

I'm changing out all my fluids and got a bit confused when it came time for my axles. The manual says add friction additive for LSD bit didn't say how to check if you have an LSD or open differential. So how can I tell what I got? My truck is a
99' 1500 4x4
5.2L motor
46 re auto trans
Dana 44 front
Chrysler 9.25 rear

Look for the sticker under the hood or in the glove box. If that fails, order a build sheet from Dodge....which I cannot find the forum link for....


Or you can jack up the rear end and spin one tire. If both move in the same direction, your LSD is working, if they move in opposite directions, it either does not work or you have an open.
