I need help w my mirrors

I have a 2016 ram 1500 sport and i have replaced the mirrors w a 2012 not knowing those mirrors dont have the ambient temp sensor. I found some mirrors that were pulled from a 2015 ram 2500 they are power folding they have the ambient temp sensor but im not sure if the 2500 and 1500 will work ? since my truck has the check engine light on.

Shouldn't be an issue with the mirrors. What codes do you have? Need to start there.

2500 mirrors will work fine. An alternative is to just add the sensor. Boost m
