Hey guys,
I pulled the trigger and have ordered the INEZ 4/6 Kit for my pickup... 4WD but want some input on selecting a rear shock for the kit.

The shock that comes with this kit is the following;

ProComp 919500
Compressed Length - 12.320"
Extended Length - 19.840"

Currently I have Rancho RS7000MT's on the truck and really like them, as well as they go well with the color scheme of the suspension being a brushed silver and black it meshes well... However they don't have a DIRECT REPLACEMENT equal to the ProComp shock, nor one for a 2000 IZUZU Trooper (as what the PC 919500) fits.

Rancho does offer a 9000XL series in that size, but it uses red and is painted silver vs brushed/machined. I currently have reached out to Rancho to see if I can buy black bushings and boots for those shocks out back.

RS9000 series that fits the kit

RS999215
Comp Length - 13.188"
Ext Length - 19.250"
Travel Length - 6.130"

Here are some spec of RS7000MT's with the stock OEM replacement first, hopefully I can get some valuable input on if any of the other shocks listed will work or not.

STOCK

RS999367
Comp Length - 16.410"
Ext Length - 25.580"
Travel Length - 9.170"

POSSIBLE OPTIONS

RS7113
Comp Length - 13.420"
Ext Length - 20.730"
Travel Length - 7.310"

RS7119
Comp Length - 12.140"
Ext Length - 18.270"
Travel Length - 6.130"

RS7152
Comp Length - 12.140"
Ext Length - 18.110"
Travel Length - 5.970"

Belltech NitroDrop 2 PN #8504
says its for a 3-5" lowered vehicle in the rear.

Was recommended the BellTech Street Perf 2209FF instead from them as its 19.49” extended and 12.52” collapsed

If you advise of one please explain as to why... Thank you in advance

I would be open to using the Bilstein 5100 series as well, if someone knows of a rear shock that meets the ProComp 919500 specs too..

Update when I called Rancho about the RS999215 shocks they told me it wouldn't work as the mounts don't fit our trucks. Yet the INEZ kit uses the 9/16" mount as well I would assume that the RS999215 has on it. So does the INEZ shocks come with new hardware, or did you re-use the OEM hardware?

As well I was told none of the above mentioned would work as they are different bolt mounts since our trucks use a 14MM bolt as well.

If you want a more inexpensive shock run the Belltech Street Performance shocks for said drop, they are a step above the nitedrop shocks

For a more quality setup with the ability to adjust, look at QA1's single or double adjustable shocks in the length you need.... contact QA1 and they can direct you to the best fit or part number you'll need

I would look at the 709 series from QA1. If you get the adjustable set you're looking at a spec of 12.88" - 19.50" with eyelet mounts; non-adjustable has a spec of 12.63" - 20.13" and is spec'd for a C-10 rear shock so it'll handle a truck's suspension.

I have to assume the Inez kit relocates the shock mount since I was still able to run the TD901s with the factory shock mounts when I redid my suspension to run the 6" rear drop on my 4wd and those TD901s have a spec of 14.88" - 23.63".

I’ll probably go with the TN513 (701) since the RS7000MT isn’t adjustable upfront

I don't know if I'd go with the 513, it's a full 2" shorter on the extended length that what you'd be getting with the 919500s, if your rear wheels ever fully extend you could top out the shock if it's not long enough and rip it open.

Here is why I said TN513 as its right off the 709 page under part numbers..
