Your killing me Limey, did you get it finished? Let the truck run for about 15 to 20 minutes and then you should know for sure...

Really easy to install and I am really impressed with the kit. It does not look cheap by any means. I will keep you posted on if they stay working.

DDM makes a solid product.. Can't say I've ever had an issue with anything I've bought from them. Glad it's working out for guys with the 15's!

Didnt think the fogs were part of the canbus system. Son wouldn't any hid system with capacitors work?

I think they are. I've tried adding leds for fogs and they wouldn't even fire up. And the fog icon wouldn't turn on. As soon as I put halogen bulbs back in everything worked

I don't believe they are. Granted mine is a 12' but I threw a cheap ebay hid kit in there and had zero problems from day one.

a regular 9006 hid kit will NOT work. I just tried the cheaper ddm 35w kit for my fogs and they do not work. I tried a relay harness and the error eliminators and same thing. They flicker with the harness and with the error eliminators they just blink off and on every 2 seconds..

I do find it Odd that the fogs wouldn't be part of the can bus system.

Seeing as CANbus has been required in all vehicles sold in the US since 2008 that certain vehicles wouldn't or haven't connected the foglight system.

Or that it causes problems on certain canbus vehicles and not others.

I think it's more that the newer the vehicle is the more sensitive the canbus system is

They did not work and I have a 15 with projectors. I had quads and then Spyders and now the TYC projectors. This was to try and take out the issue with led's but it was a fail. My hid's work with know problems but I'm running a relay harness.
I'm waiting to see if these ddm's really work on 15's with no need for a relay and resistors. I currently have 6 resistors per side and I just don't like having all that running through. It works but I'm trying to cut down on all the extras.
So if these ddm's work I'll purchase them and get rid of 4 resistors per side and I'm working on something over the next few days to see if I can eliminate all the resistors.
If it works I'll post what I did!!
Where in the world did you mount all the resistors? I have never taken off the grill is there mounting room there?

4500s are brighter than 6500s?
New to this light stuff.
Thanks.

Yup 3000k 2400 lumens, 4500k are about 3500 lumens, 5500k about 3400 lumens , 6500 are about 3200 lumens (numbers are from the retro source and for 35w ballast). That number does not mean brightness it means color. 3000k is solid yellow, 4500 is white with a hint of yellow, 5500 is solid white, and 6500 is white with a hint of blue.
