I believe that the 2015 and up models require a new computer to be purchased from diablo as well in order to use these tuners.

You would also have to get your pcm unlocked if you want to use the tuner. A lot more expensive.

Not entirely correct. You have to purchase an unlocked PCM to use the tuner. The original PCM cannot be unlocked due to encryption placed on it by FCA.

So I’m seeing this trend on here that people are getting used pcm’s from eBay and Installing those on their rigs and using them in conjunction with a tuner. How does that work?

I have no idea how it works or if it works all the time.

Personally, I'd be a bit leery of this unless the used PCM is totally unlocked. There are other things to consider. I'd look for one that is sold by a reputable dealer who can guarantee you can program it.

Just to clarify for anyone skipping the previous posts, this comment is in reference to unlocked pcms from eBay and not the tuner that I am trying to sell.
