Is there any difference in 4wd and 2wd Coil Springs?

I have a 07 Dodge Ram Mega Cab 1500 2wd.. I was going to buy ''Lift Upper Control Arms'' But I can't find any lift springs for 2wd.. So I was wanting to know if 4wd springs will work? I was told that they don't make springs for a 2wd because it will max out the control arm.. My plans were going to buy the upper control arms and put 4'' springs..

If anyone can help me with this that would be great...

Thanks

Yes they are different i believe. The 4wd have struts and the 2wd do not. So i would assume they are different.

4wd use a 4 link control arm while mega cab 2wd use triangular control arm
For that much lift you should really get a spindle lift such as the cst kit
With just springs there is othe suspension geometry that will be thrown off severely with just springs and a upper control arms

I am buying the cst lift spindles buy I don't want to use the 2.5 lift cups that comes with the cst lift kit... I want to use coil springs but they don't make any for my truck .. Thats why I was asking if 4wd coil springs were the same size as 2wd becuase you can find 4wd coil springs all day long..

NOt that I know of, I believe your only option is the spacer. There is another 2wd 2500 guy that went with the spindles/coil spacer and 3 inch Body lift. RUnning 315/70/17's Going with 37's next.
