Most manufacturers use leather where you sit and everything else is vinyl. That being said, leather wears MUCH MUCH better than vinyl.

I promise the stuff on the seats in my 3Rd gen isn't real. You can see the cloth mesh it's formed on when it tears.

We have had several sets of oem 4th gen leather and the quality is better then 3rd gen leather. Overall I think the seat design is better and should not break down like the 3rd gen seats do. If it was me i would try to get 4th gen oem leather seats and forget about trying to put aftermarket covers on
