Hi all,
I'm wanting to add an LED Strip under the tail gate.
What did you guys do around the spare tire access hole?
Thanks in advance!

I simply took the plastic piece out of the hole and mounted the strip where it barely covers the hole. While it does cover a portion of the access hole - I can still easily access it without issue.

I've read people have used thin neodymium magnets to mount a tailgate LED light strip.

I used the supplied clips, and not the "stick on" option. That way I can just move the strip a little by pulling it out of the clip. Makes for easy access to the tire crank down hole.

Ceramic magnets from ace hardware. Works like a charm though I have no spare lol
