LED Taillights

I found a set of LED factory taillights from a 2014 Ram and I was wondering if I could install these in a 2018 Ram. Mine didn’t come with the LED taillights. Do I need to do any modifications? Any help would be appreciated

They are the same generation, you should be able to do this w/o issue. The only thing you'll need to do is if your original TLs are incandescent, you'll need to use AlphaOBD and OBDLink MX+ to turn off the "Tail Light Out" message from the information center. There are posts here on how to do that - just search for AlphaOBD.

I believe you will need an adapter, factory led trucks have different plug vs non led trucks.

If you have factory halogen lights, you'll need to get an adapter for the plugs. The housings will fit just fine, but the wiring is different. Or, depending on what price you found them for, it may be cheaper to buy an aftermarket set of taillights.
