Hi everyone, I’m coming over from an f150 which I had a 2” level coil spring spacer on. I drove over 125,000 miles on that set up and loved it and never had any problems. Now I have a 2017 2500 Laramie with the 6.7cummins. I am looking for some suggestions on which level kit and type of level to go with on this truck. Any concerns with a coil spring spacer with the weight of the diesel motor? Also, what size is everyone going with? 2” or 2.5”? I do not want a nose high look. Thanks for any help and pictures.

if there is a thread similar to this I’m sorry I couldn’t find one.

I have the coil spacers. I'm guessing more people use those then going with the bigger springs. I've never heard of anyone having issues with them. You've ran them before so you know they don't do anything for true off road performance but at 1/4 the cost of springs I'm happy with mine. I would go 2" if I were to do it again. I went 2.5", and when empty it was level . I use my truck for work and always have it full of tools so now it's always nose up. I'm going to have to raise the back a couple inches to level it again. I would go with bigger shocks instead of shock relocation bracket .

I have a Tuff Country 2" spacer level (on top of the coils) on my 2017 Cummins and it works well. I got the one with the shock relocation bracket. It lets you run the stock shocks and helps maintain suspension geometry.

I've run this same product on 2 other 2500s (a 3rd Gen and a 4th Gen) with no issues. I'd say I've run them about 160K miles on those two trucks.

Between all 3 trucks I'd estimate I have run the Tuff Country producs over 180K miles.

Thanks guys for the input. I’ve been sort of leaning towards the 2” spacer and possibly with a pair of upgraded shocks. Haven’t decided. That’s a nice setup MADDOG.

You mind if I ask the specs on those 18 inch wheels? I'm getting prepd to pull the trigger on wheels and I like the stance of those. I don't want to go too wide outside the fenders.

FYI.....I went with the Bilstein 5112 B8 leveling kit and 35x12.50R18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I chose the Bilstein kit over Carli and Thuren cause from what ive read, the Carli and Thuren have softer coils, and while they improve the ride, reduce towing capability. Plus the Bilstein is a bit more budget friendly

Bought my truck with spacers already on it and would like to replace it all down the road with a thuren setup. But for the price i likely would have went the spacer route anyway.

Here is mine. I have 305 70 18 tires which Mickey thompson says is close to a 35 12.50. Just looking at pics my tires look smaller than most guys with a regular 35.

They aren't Methods. I've seen that design on several brands, actually.

Mine are Walker Evans Racing Legacy 504s.

I went with the carli “budget” kit that comes with new springs and fox 2.0 shocks on all 4 corners. I’ve run spacers in the past on other trucks and always felt it drove like crap afterwords, too stiff.

This felt like an improvement over stock. Not Kings by any means but rides great.

2.3" Bilstein coil level with a 1" rear spacer to get some rake back. 285/75-18 Nitto ridge grapplers (35's)

Which rear spacer did you go with. I've been contemplating doing that on mine.
