I'm going to be lifting my 2016 ram 2500 6.4 next week and putting 37x12.50r20 on it

I work for a shop so I have two options to go with.

Brand new Mickey Thompson baja atz p3 for $800

Or

My friend just took a set of nitto ridge grapplers off his jeep and they measure an even 14/32nds across all four tires. They come with 18/32nds new. I can get these for $600.

Yes in a perfect world I'd get both but I'm looking for your opinions on which set to go with.

This truck sees 65-75mph 80% of the time, the rest city driving and sure there's always that possibility I may play around in some mud but it's really not a truck I want to beat on.

I’m running mickeys on my truck. First set I’ve had. I’ve never had the nittos. I’ve run bfg and Goodyear. The mickeys are by far my favorite followed by the bfg.

Well, I have some bias since I have the grapplers but I am gonna say... Grapplers. Loving them so far. Very little noise. Great in my desert runs. Betting the do well in mud and other stuff too.

Mickey Thompsons.....you won't be disappointed! I've had several sets of the ATZ P3's and always loved them Super quiet and last forever. When I needed new tires this time for my truck...I went with 37" Toyo's because I couldn't get the MT's as cheap and I read so much good stuff about the Toyo's. Big mistake.... going back to MT's next time.

One thing that’s important to consider as well is tore weight. In the size I’m considering the Nitto is 7lbs per tire lighter compared to the MT Baja atz

I do have an affinity for MT though after years of using their tires in the drag racing world. So they’re appealing but I feel like 7lbs per tire can make a difference or is that not noticeable?

They're not drastically far apart, and the truck is also getting new gears

Lift is in the mail, so I'll make a decision by the end of the week

I've got the Ridge Grapplers and I've had them for almost 1 1/2 years now. They seem to be holding up well and are a good mannered tire. They're not as good in the snow as the KO2's I had before, but they seem comparable in other ways.
