I was in the 3rd ACR at Ft. Bliss from 76-79.

We still had M551 Sheridans and M114's with 25MM chain guns. And Mogas M88's.

Awesome, I was an Abrams Mech (by MOS) but of course you do everything in the Cav. When they moved to Hood I opted to stay at Carson so just swapped patches (4ID.) Pretty funny though that 80% of 4ID in Carson had 3rd ACR Combat Patches. LOL!

NY Army National Guard
Joined in 2004 as 11B, reclassed to 25S in 2011, became AGR in 2012, reclassed to 14G in 2014, reclassed to 25L (as a way to get to 25W) in 2017. Just waiting to get back from deployment and get to SLC so I can pin on E7, got selected earlier this year but gotta wait since we are deployed.
