I think pretty much everyone. Had the problem since new, and heard a lot of complaints, but still waiting and watching for a cure. Even when putting in a local address, nothing found. Am guessing it is a programming/software issue.

There is TSB 08-009-19 that suppose to fix NAV issue. Call your dealer and ask them to install update.

Just bought mine, apparently I've got the same issue. I'm taking mine in on Tuesday for the stereo; hopefully they can fix this too.

Just an update, I had the update done and it worked for about a day. Then the nav froze up and the screen would go black randomly. I went back and they are ordering me a new radio to replace the one I have. I will post when it is in.

I actually went to the dealership today. They updated the stereo (sounds much better) and they told me that this is a known issue and that he will call me when they release the update.

I bought my new Ram in April. Worked fine for a while now I am having same Nav problem others have stated.
Plus now Radio wont hold presets... This all started just a few weeks ago.
I just moved. Took it to dealer here and said I was doing presets wrong!! What ?!
Worked fine for 3 months now I am doing it wrong?!
I was told it was fixed. Got home, no presets.
Going back to dealer again Friday.
Frustrating to say the least!!!!

Got to love (hate) these dealers...instead of getting the "it's normal" routine you got the you're doing it wrong and it's fixed routine. Hope you can get it resolved.

I wrote this long reply only to find my Uconnect GPS search bar works. If I type a local address it guesses a list before I can get done. Otherwise I can push the "around here" button and it offers a place to put in a different city or zip code.
Oh well maybe you can get something out of this as far as the other search pages.

At the bottom of the screen on the left there is a "where to?" button. If you push this you get an abbreviated screen with four shortcut buttons. "Home, Work, favorites and Recent". All very helpful to finding commonly used addresses. Below that are your Shortcuts which can be categories (POIs), favorites or search terms. These are edited by scrolling to the right and picking "edit shortcuts". If you select "gas stations" here for example, it will list those close buy and if you select one it shows on the map. If you then push the "more info" you can usually get a phone number and distance.
Now for the real treat. Again on the bottom left of the screen is a bottom "Other Destinations". If you push this you get a full function search screen. It has the previous screen options but it also has the same malfunctioning search bar we started with on the main page, but now it works. In fact you usually don't have to put in the whole address before it guesses your destination.
Additionally at the bottom of the screen under "other destinations" you have a powerful tool that allows you to look up destinations by phone number or coordinates (not sure why you would have coordinates) but if you do.... You can also find addresses here by city or zip code and then entering info step by step. You'll see what I mean.
You can also create trips with multiple stops here.You also get the full POI list.
You can also record trails if you like to take the same route or record a trail for someone else to use so you know they won't get lost.

I called and they said the radio came in so I made an appointment. Went to have it installed only for them to tell me that got the wrong one in. So I'm still waiting. Drove for 6hrs only to have the screen go blank after 30min in. Not being able to adjust anything from there.
