I need a recommendation on an electric welder for small, minor, non-structural projects.
Immediately I have a need to weld a bolt onto a wheel-lock lug nut for nut removal. Other uses might include making (non-structural and non-critical) brackets to mount electronics or lightweight hand tool fixes/fabrications. The setting is non a commercial one, instead it's for do-it-yourself mini-projects and fixes, less than 1/4-inch steel thicknesses.
Would a flux-cored wire feed welder meet these needs?
Needs to be 120 volts or less.
Thanks -
