Got a 2000 ram 1500 I believe it's got a 46re. The problem is when I stomp on the fuel there no overdrive. Everything else seems fine as far as shifting is concerned it seem anyway. Anyone have any experiences like this. Advice please guys
Thanks in advance.

Read the error codes it might give a clue on what might be the problem with the trans. Might be a relay or solenoid but it best to get the code so you not guessin'

Hmm... Might be a sign that it's about to mess up entirely.

What do you mean no overdrive? If you stomp on the gas its not going to go into overdrive. That's for crusing. Are you trying to say it wont downshift when u stomp on it?

You should only feel the tranny shift 3 times then you should feel the converter locking up.
Are you not feeling the 3rd shift or the lockup?

Check your tranny fluid level wile running in neutral. Start there. I am pretty sure that you tranny is all electronic so I doubt it vacuum related. If you floor the gas from a stop do you ever feel it slip?
