Need help wiring headlights / AlfaOBD configs

Ordered LED DRL C-Bar headlights - need clarification on the DRL wiring. I understand you install connectors off the new headlight wires but am lost on the parking light/ turn signal harness set up? Wires from the splice connector?

If successful, what's the AlfaOBD process, new bulbs are halogen just like factory but DRL need new configuring..

Plan on putting LED switchbacks for turn signals also...

If you are just using halogen bulbs for low/high then nothing needs to be done. Switchbacks you'll need to change parking lights and turn signals to led's.

The drl function you have a couple of options.

Easiest way is tie the drl wires from the headlights together, add a inline fuse and use a keyed on fuse in the fuse box to turn the drl's on.

The more factory way (harder way) purchase the correct pin (most places now have a minimum purchase amount of 50 to 100 depending on the site) then add the dedicated drl feed. Your truck will have the "truck" side wiring, you'd have to add it from the connector under the fuse box to the drl wires on the headlights ( it's discussed in the "anyone try modifystreet headlights" thread. If I get a chance I may do a write up on it. Then you would have to enable the drl feature listed on post 1 in the alfaobd thread.

The way they have it set up is you'd need to have the parking lights on for the c-bar lights to turn on. If you want to have "automatic" drl's you can wire them how I described. This way you aren't tapping into factory wiring. You run the risk of shorting out something by tapping into wiring that way. Ram's are sensitive when it comes to wiring
