So I’m the market for a new trailer, I have a 22’ ram 2500 CCSB w the 6.4 4wd and 3.73, I do a little of everything but mainly will be using it to move cars, some light equipment, building materials, etc

Some options me for me are bumper bull, no gooseneck hitch

20’ 10k car hauler with 2 ft dove tail. Wood deck with the dove tail being steel
20’ 10k car hauler w 2 ft dove tail but all steel
20’ 14k full tilt gravity 14k wood w 2’ steel at the end
20’ 14k. split tilt deck 16’ tilt and 4’ stationary

I’m one of those people now who buy once, cry once so money isn’t the issue. I have had a few enclosed, utility trailers and an 16’ equipment hauler so not my first trailer

Has anyone had an experience with tilt decks over car haulers and how do they tow compared to car haulers

They tow about the same, really. They're a bit heavier empty so they actually (in my experience) pull a bit better unloaded than a comparable size car hauler.

I would suggest that if money isn't an issue go with a higher GVW trailer - Always better to have some wiggle room for those times when the load is a LITTLE bit more than you expected.
