Need trailer camera, bought this kit, now what?

Details seem hard to find, but I'm looking to put a camera on back of trailer. I bought 68525798AA part number which is a wire kit that I hope to see will be long enough for trailer. I think it looks into the back of existing plug on tailgate of pickup. But even both the kit is long enough and plugs in, I still need the camera. Anyone have an idea what kind of camera hooks into these kits?

Googling that part number indicates it is for a 2022 truck. The illustrations show wire and camera. The camera looks like the one that came with my 2022. Camera and wiring sends a signal to the electronic rear view mirror via a special connection in the bumper. I suggest asking your Ram parts dealer if this will work for your rig, especially if you do not have an electronic rear view mirror.

Is this for your 2017? Do you have a tailgate camera?
You may want to just get this adapter harness that then allows you to plug in any aftermarket backup camera you want to mount on the back of your trailer.

This is what I got in the box. It's just a cable, no camera. I have the 12" screen and digital rear view mirror, which was my assumption that a camera would hook up here. I'm just not sure what.

So after some more research, apparently I got the wrong thing. There's a wiring kit with camera, and then just the wiring kit--I got just the kit. I'm not sure if the two hook together yet or not or if I even need the kit, but I can't buy the camera seperately unless it's ebay or something?

Hey Dashbarron, I'm looking for that plug connection box for the bumper. Did you have to purchase the whole kit for that piece or was it separate? I can't seem to find a part number just for the box/connector so I'm thinking I have to get the whole kit but curious your experience.
