New Factory Orders

Anyone that is about to place a Factory Order for a Ram, there may be a delay in receiving it, so the normal 8 week wait for delivery may be extended.
There is a computer chip shortage.

there is also the story of the SHAP with 7649 workers shutting down because 1 worker tested positive..dont know if they are back online yet..hope so because I am pondering ordering a new 2500 laramie.

Hmmm, no bueno. Thank goodness I ordered mine New Year's Day. The ramcares agent told me on 2/1 that it was out of the factory and waiting to ship, and when I checked today the status hasn't changed, so the waiting continues.

I think that a power wagon is actually sitting on a Heavy Duty Frame
All Heavy Duty Rams are built in Saltillo Mexico
It's a long way from down there to where you live.
The Mexican railway can't move as fast as ours does & it is a Milk Run, it stops at every point from Monterey Mexico to Eagle Pass Texas, where it enters the USA.

When i say Milk Run, it stops at every place where Ford, Chevy, FCA, toyota, etc. manufacturing part & complete vehicles are manufactured or assembled, plus picking up normal freight along the way.

I was expecting it the first part of January not the first of Spring...
But my dealer called yesterday and said it's there, they just have to install all my stuff now.
My 2019 Laramie has been the best truck I've ever owned! Hope the Power Wagon is worth the wait...

I told my wife I'm keeping this one bone stock!
( except for HDX brushguard and side steps)
( and trifold bed cover)
( and a S&B CAI)
( and dual exhaust)
( and 35" tires)
But other than that stock....
