Hey y’all so I have my 2012 3500 Laramie and I did a radio replacement as this old oem one just isn’t cutting it anymore. Now that she’s in and ready to go I noticed I don’t have video from my rear view camera. Like the new head unit knows when I’m in reverse and is looking for a video signal but doesn’t get one. I don’t know what adapter I would need in order to rectify this issue and any help with finding an adapter to analog video connection would be the perfect thing but I can’t seem to find them anywhere. Thanks in advance.

What kit did you use to install the new radio(ie. metra, idatalink, pac)?

I have a factory harness that was not used when installing my aftermarket radio. In that harness is the factory backup camera wiring. I grabbed a old RCA cable, pulled it apart and soldered the wires to get them stiff and pushed them into the harness plug. Worked great.
