Hey,

Here's a new trailer we got in June this year. 2013 Shamrock 21SSL.

Have towed it only twice (not happy about that), but it's been awesome so far. Going from tent camping out of the back of the truck to a trailer is no comparison.

GVWR 7418lb, Dry tongue weight is 418lb, but that will only go up once we start putting toys on it.

Have towed through Crowsnest pass in the rockies (Alberta) and through the foothills. No problems towing, definitely can tell that it's there. Use a combination of tow/haul mode and manual shifting, especially when going downhill (try not to use my brakes).

Couple exterior pictures, cause we all love pictures.

That is a nice rig. My mind is blown that you have a 21 ft trailer with a 7418 lb GVWR.

Rated to carry 2350lb of cargo. Dry weight is "4991" or so they say.

That is a nice rig. My mind is blown that you have a 21 ft trailer with a 7418 lb GVWR.

The difference between dry weight and GVWR on some trailers is amazing. A lot of it depends on the axles they start with. My 26' Salem has 5000# axles (2 of them) and weighs about 6600# dry. The GVWR is around 11,000# so the sticker says I can load up 4300#. It's nice to know I could throw a yard of gravel inside if I really wanted to :)

On the flip side there are a lot of trailers that have pitiful low cargo capacity numbers. My same trailer with 3500# axles (and there are many 26' TT built that way) would have only about 1300# cargo capacity. Keeping in mind things like water, propane tanks and any of your storage aren't included in dry weight.

To give an idea, my trailer that starts with a 6600# dry weight rolls down the road with basic supplies and an average amount of water in the tanks at about 8500#.

Thanks, definitely happy with how the truck/trailer look together.

That's in the foothills of the rocky mountains in Alberta. Lots of crown land out there, just pull in and set up at one of the fire pits built from previous campers. No 'rules', just respect for the land and other campers. Pack out what you pack in.

Was there for a 30th bday party weekend. About 15 people (just as many dogs). Had a pack of wild horses come through; stallion, 5 mares and a foal. Bit of standoff between the dogs / horses, but everyone was OK.

The trailer cabin is only 21ft, there's 8 ft of deck on the front. Total ball to bumper length is 31.5' I believe.

Nice unit!
It must be nice to have that much headroom to the GVWR. Our 32' has only 1,000 or so but it's not an issue for us.
