Mod happy
Awesome truck man! Nice color choice!! The deep water blue gets dirty easy but man.. When she's clean you cannot beat it. What mods do you have planned?
Yup, I started claying it, and got my first coat of sealant on half the car before it decided to rain. Ugh. But I can see the potential. When I get good weather, I'm going to wax this thing until it looks wet. I love pearl paint coats for the depth that can be achieved.
So, because I'll be towing a TT full time no huge mods. I have a wouldn't it be cool list and a list of what we need.
I'm going to be adding a TTC-1223 rear coil spring, airlift bags for good measure and Bilstien 5100's at all four corners. Depending on how the springs do to counter downward sag from the hitch weight I might level the front. We'll see, I need to kind of hook up the trailer and things first and make a determination from there.
I'm researching tires presently. It's a shame, the previous owner put brand spanking new Wrangler SRA's on her, but as most of you know, they're soft, smushy and a crap tire and they're not going to be suited for towing.
I'm a little torn, take a look at my Trailblazer you know what I want, big beefy tires. But we're not going to be offroading that much. I might, might do things like Cinnamon Pass in Colorado and the White Rim Trail in Caynonlands, one of our favorite parks. That's about the level for offroading.
So I am presently leaning towards 275/65/20 on the stock rim, just undecided between an all highway and an AT tire.
Catch can, CAI, Tune are on the order list. Getting Tint ASAP, thing is like a fishbowel presently.
After that, I kind of really like the idea of shorties, MBRP T304 cat back exhaust.
I don't know if I mentioned it earlier, but we were very excited to find a few things on the build sheet like the 32 gallon tank and tow mirrors.
Oh, and Caynonlands in 2012 before the 35's when I just had 31's and a 2 inch lift. Jeep guys gave us all kinds of dirty looks when we came rolling along.
