Paint flaking above 4wd buttons

Was just curious if anyone else had this issue. The paint around the shifter knob trim has started to chip off. I though maybe it could be from the button rubbing but I almost never use 4wd auto. It's not to terribly bad but it's definitely annoying, truck is only a year old

I had my 15 for 3.5 years and didnt have an issue near those buttons. If it is only 1 year old then it is still covered under warranty. Bring it in to the dealer
